Job Description
Summary
This position will have full responsibility for the overall operations and strategic management of a 500,000+ sq.ft warehouse in Riverside, CA. The facility serves cross-border e-commerce, retail distribution, and drop-shipping operations, ensuring efficient and orderly daily receiving, shipping, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee all warehouse processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory cycle counts.
Develop and optimize SOPs to ensure order accuracy, on-time delivery, and efficient inventory turnover.
Monitor KPIs (order processing time, error rate, inventory accuracy, etc.) and drive continuous improvement.
2. Technology & Process Optimization
Ensure optimal use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to improve efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with the operations team to enhance workflows and implement best practices for productivity and cost control.
3. Team Management & Training
Recruit, train, and motivate the warehouse team; manage manpower allocation and shift scheduling.
Organize regular safety training to ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and company safety standards.
Oversee employee performance and career development, maintaining team morale and stability.
4. Cross-Department Collaboration & Customer Interface
Coordinate effectively with purchasing, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth supply chain.
Handle special customer requests and urgent situations to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Maintain strong relationships with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) and transportation partners.
5. Cost & Resource Management
Develop warehouse budgets and monitor execution.
Optimize storage layouts and operational processes to reduce costs and maximize space utilization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above (Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred).
5+ years of warehouse/logistics management experience; e-commerce or drop-shipping experience preferred.
Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish, with fluent English.
Proficient in WMS and related operational processes.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations.
