Job Title: Commercial Pipe Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Pipe Welder with a current 6G welding certification and preferred X-ray welding certification to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience welding high-pressure piping systems in commercial or industrial environments and must be capable of producing quality welds in all positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding using SMAW, GTAW, and/or GMAW processes in 6G position.
• Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys according to project specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Conduct welds that meet or exceed X-ray inspection standards.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Fit, tack, and weld pipe components with precision and minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with pipefitters, foremen, and inspectors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Complete daily reports and documentation as required.

Essential Skills

• 6G welding certification.
• Experience with high-pressure piping systems.
• Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW welding processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and welding symbols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
