The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Ludington that are seeking skilled Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Design, procure, and maintain production tooling, fixtures, and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications. Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring manufacturability and smooth production ramp-up. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process optimization and efficiency. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for tooling and fixture design. Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
